“The Da Vinci Code” was Dan Brown’s second novel centering on Robert Langdon, a Harvard professor who’s an expert in religious symbols. “Angels & Demons,” published in 2000, introduced the Langdon character. In “Angels,” Langdon’s character tries to solve a murder and unravel a plot by an ancient group, the Illuminati, to blow up the Vatican during a papal conclave.

At first I really liked the book, because its really well written BUT if you look beneath the surface, its absolute crap!
Almost everything in there concerning illuminati is not right and even the places and settings at the places are not as the author describes.
For example: In one situation a copper pidgin (if i remember right) on a fountain is described and it is said that it “shows” the way to somewhere (i think it was the “illuminati’s secret base” but its been a while since i read it) but for instance, one can turn that pidgin in reality…

Well, the first minute of the trailer is nothing. So I’ll wait for a real trailer to come out.

I agree, Angels & Demons was a much better novel than DaVinci. I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the DaVinci Code adaptation though, so hopefully they stay true to the book of Angels & Demons too. It was a bit longer though, so I’ll keep my hopes set on a 3hour movie, anything less would be a shame.

I hope Ron H. makes something good out of this story. I was disappointed with the the DVC - With today’s techniques in film making, and all the art masterpieces, the film should be out of this world.

FYI it is a FICTIONAL book. Stop taking his made up story so literal, its like bashing 300 because it was not historically accurate.

    Angels & Demons
    Looks like a scary movie.
I wonder if it will be an Omen style horror?
Tom Hanks in the movie gives me the idea
it will be a good movie to see.

    thanks from tony
