Christian Bale Says That His Batman Won’t Ever Team Up with Robin

When someone says ‘Batman’ people almost immediately think of his teen sidekick, Robin. However, according to WENN Christian Bale wants his version of the Dark Knight, as seen in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight to remain without a sidekick.
Bale has gone on record as saying that he hopes that Robin is kept out of future Batman movies, because once the Boy-Wonder shows up, he’ll be done. “If Robin crops up in one of the new Batman films, I’ll be chaining myself up somewhere and refusing to go to work.”
Robin may not be seen on the big screen again anytime soon, but you can see Batman again when The Dark Knight hits theatres July 18, 2008.
